Back in December we had the pleasure of meeting a famous author and illustrator! We met sisters Susan Stevens Crummel and Janet Stevens. You may have read these books:
They were amazing and so funny! They taught us so much about being authors and illustrators of our own stories. We even learned how they got ideas for the books they've written and illustrated. It was sure great to meet these two silly sisters and read a lot of their books!
There's Violet the dog from the story, "The Great Fuzz Frenzy."
And here's Janet Stevens drawing a silly bear with our helpful suggestions!
This is us in the front of this picture. We are participating in one of the author presentations. So what else is new with us? We have been very busy after celebrating this:
We had a great holiday party! We played "pass the parcel", decorated a cookie, and our teachers! It you look real close in these pictures you will see that our classroom looks a little empty. These pictures were taken on our last day at the ASD "Jumeirah" campus. After Winter Holiday we moved into our brand new school and classroom. Our new school is sooo big and beautiful. Mrs. Tebo promises to post pictures real soon of our new school. We will also tell you a little more about the country we live in...the UAE!
